Engineering Post’s conversation with MD Mr. Mirza Pervaiz Akhter Baig
United Insulation (A subsidiary of United Enterprises established in 1980), a company with a rich history, has been making waves in the insulation industry. Founded in 2018 by the duo father & son, it emerged from four decades of experience in the Engineering sector. The company’s commitment to quality and competitive pricing has positioned it as a leading manufacturer and exporter of pipe, sheets & sandwich panels of Polyisocyanurate (PIR) Insulation and Polyurethane (PUR) Insulation & Thermopore (EPS) in Pakistan.
Engineering Post was given the opportunity to interview Mr. Pervaiz Baig, Managing Director at United Insulation, where he described the steps they took in making their company a successful brand in the market. The company deals in the manufacturing of thermopore insulation, polyurethane insulation, sandwich panels and other wide range of insulation products of great quality. When asked about the plans to further increase the variety of the products they are offering, Mr. Pervaiz informed that the company has indigenously manufactured pre-insulated duct sheets and is ready to introduce in the market first in the country to do so. Moreover, PU spray foaming will also be introduced later on by the company, which will be of the bet quality so far.
On a question regarding how they manage to keep their customers satisfied consistently, Mr. Pervaiz said, “United Insulation’s commitment to innovation and excellence drives their desire to explore the Pakistani market further. As we expand our footprint, we aim to collaborate with architects, consultants, builders, and developers to create energy-efficient, comfortable spaces across the country. While asking about the recent projects that United Insulation has been a part of, Mr. Pervaiz informed that they have completed the warehouse construction of Bosch Pharma, Cold storage- Khuzdar, warehouse construction for the Pakistan Navy, podcast studio for Faizan-E-Madinah and many more renowned names that have been added to their list.
According to Mr. Pervaiz Baig, “Our goal is to be the go-to choice for insulation solutions in Pakistan. We want to raise awareness about the benefits of our products and foster long-term partnerships with our clients. Pakistan’s construction industry is evolving rapidly, and we’re excited to contribute to its growth by providing top-notch insulation solutions.”
On a question regarding where the company sees itself in the upcoming 5 years and what are their plans for further progress, Mr. Pervaiz said, “we are looking towards the export market, mainly UAE and the Middle East and are aiming on expanding the provision of our services internationally. This includes the high quality pre-insulated duct manufacturing that is to be initiated in the near future. We are also planning on setting up a factory unit for our products in Raas-ul-Khaima, UAE which will make the reach to our products for our clients, much easier.”
