TrafoLink (Pvt) Ltd, under the leadership of CEO Mr. Abdul Rauf Khokhar and Director Mr. Abdul Rahim has a storied history dating back to 1941. Initially, the company focused solely on transformers, but over the decades, it has diversified its product line to include LT service boxes, MV panels, distribution boards (DBs), and panels for the Safe City project. This expansion has positioned TrafoLink as a multifaceted player in the electrical engineering and manufacturing industry.
The company’s manufacturing and repair capabilities are impressive, spanning from 750KVA to 10MVA transformers, with variants including 380VA to 66kVA, and specific models like 20kVA, 15kVA, and 11kVA. This wide range ensures that TrafoLink can meet a diverse set of needs for various industrial applications. In recent years, TrafoLink has ventured into the solar energy sector, offering turnkey projects for solar installations. This new service complements their existing portfolio and positions them well in the growing renewable energy market.
Moreover, the company is in the process of obtaining WAPDA approval for its LC panels and transformers, which will further enhance its credibility and market reach and will provide them with the ability to compete for government contracts as well.
Looking ahead, TrafoLink plans to focus on exports and housing societies. In this regard the company has registered a new entity and established a manufacturing setup in the Gulf region. This strategic move will allow TrafoLink to tap into the lucrative Middle Eastern market and beyond.
TrafoLink is on the brink of a significant transformation, evolving into a group of companies. Alongside TrafoLink, Spleen Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, M and B Pvt Ltd, Gulf Transformers Services LLC and Maqbool and Brothers Pvt Ltd are joining forces to create a robust corporate group. This expansion is indicative of TrafoLink’s growth trajectory and its ambition to become a leading conglomerate in the electrical manufacturing sector.
One of the cornerstones of TrafoLink’s success is its strong customer retention and repeat orders from major industries in Pakistan. This loyalty is a testament to the high quality of TrafoLink’s products. During a recent exclusive conversation with Engineering Post Mr. Abdul Rauf Khokhar explained “We are so confident in the quality of our products that we offer a five-year cashback warranty on transformers, and in some industries, we even extend this to ten years,” Remarkably, not a single warranty claim has been made, underscoring the reliability and durability of their products.
To ensure such high standards, TrafoLink designs and produces its products under strict supervision. From winding to testing, each step of the production process is meticulously monitored. This attention to detail guarantees that every product meets the company’s rigorous quality standards.
The company is currently expanding its factory to accommodate the increased workload. “We have already increased the total size of our factory by 50% and plan to add another 50% later this year,” Mr. Abdul Rauf Khokhar noted. This expansion will enable TrafoLink to ramp up production and meet growing demand.
