To promote knowledge and technology based development: Over two dozen schemes in process of being launched

One of the most important goals of Vision 2025  is to create a ” Knowledge  Economy and Technology-based Economy’ through adopting various measures

Over two dozen schemes have either been already launched or in the process of being launched by the official quarters concerned in the country.

Some of these include “Strengthening of Laboratory facilities in five leading Engineering and Technical Education Universities at Peshawar, Taxila, Lahore, Khuzdar and NED Karachi”.

Establishment of Pir Roshan Institute of progressive Sciences and Technologies, Miranshah, North Waziristan.

Establishment of National Cyber Security Academy.

Enhancement of academic Facilities at NED university of Engineering and Technology, Karachi.

Construction/Development of Basic Infrastructure for the newly upgraded University of Engineering and Technology, Mardan.

Establishment of Institute of Science & Technology, Bahawalpur

Establishment of NUTECH Railway Engineering Technologies & Skills at National University of Technology (NUTECH) Main Campus

Establishment of National Centre for Manufacturing

Establishment of National Centre for Brand Development

Strengthening of Lab and Research Facilities at all public sector universities.
