Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Lt Gen (r) Asim Saleem Bajwa has said that the financial closes of 330 Megawatts (MW) Thar Block-2 power plant is expected by the end of September 2020. He shared this information on his public page on social media.
He further stated that the project, which would be executed by Thal Nova and HUBCO, was launched recently with an investment of $500 million and has created 305 jobs so far. He said that the project is being pushed by Company’s own equity to prevent loss of time.
