The second edition of TEXPO organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is being held at Lahore expo centre from April 11 to 14.
In a press conference held before the commencement of the event Secretary TDAP Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed Faruqui announced dates of the TEXPO to the media in the presence of Director General Syed Rafeo Shah and Riaz Sheikh, DG TDAP, Karachi and Mian Riaz Ahmed, DGTDAP, Lahore.
Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed said that the main objective of the event is to enhance the country’s export through comprehensive display of diverse Pakistani textile & Clothing products.
Buyers from 53 countries and 230 exhibitors from all the major cities of Pakistan are participating in the event, especially representing value added sector like readymade garments, towels, bed sheets, hosiery, made ups, carpets, leather, high end fashion garments etc. Major brands like Chen One, Rajby, Sapphire, Al Karam, Siddiq sons and Reliance Petro reserved space in the event.
The event would bring together representatives of leading chain stores and international buyers at the doorsteps of the Pakistani business community.
