Taj Engineering has steadily positioned itself as one of the most influential switchgear and panel manufacturing companies serving Pakistan’s HVAC and industrial sectors. In an exclusive interview with Engineering Post, the leadership of Taj Engineering shared how deep integration with the HVAC industry, combined with advanced control solutions, has become the company’s strongest unique selling point.
At the heart of Taj Engineering’s success is its dominance in Form 3B panel manufacturing. According to the company, nearly 70 percent of the market share for this specific product is supplied by Taj Engineering alone. These panels are known for their high quality, reliability, and strict adherence to international standards, making them a preferred choice for large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
“Our focus has always been on engineering depth rather than just assembly,” said Abdul Aleem, CEO of Taj Engineering. “Form 3B panels are highly sensitive in terms of segregation and safety. Achieving a 70 percent market share did not happen overnight; it is the result of years of design refinement, quality control, and understanding client-specific operational requirements.”
Beyond Form 3B panels, Taj Engineering manufactures a complete range of HVAC-related electrical solutions, including VFD panels, soft starters, MCC panels, and other critical panel accessories. This wide portfolio allows the company to serve HVAC contractors and industrial clients under one roof, reducing compatibility issues and improving system efficiency.

Abdullah Aleem, Director of Taj Engineering, emphasized that this holistic approach is what differentiates the company from most switchgear manufacturers. “Very few switchgear companies truly understand the HVAC industry,” he explained. “Our uniqueness lies in the fact that we can manud switchgear panels and integrate HVAC requirements in our panels by ourselves. This integration allows us to design panels that are electrically robust and mechanically aligned with HVAC operational needs.”
The company’s strong presence in the pharmaceutical sector further highlights its technical credibility. Taj Engineering reports that approximately 70 percent of the panels used across major pharmaceutical facilities are supplied by them. In an industry where precision, reliability, and uninterrupted operation are non-negotiable, this level of trust reflects long-term performance rather than short-term success.
One of Taj Engineering’s landmark achievements includes supplying all MCC panels installed in Emaar Towers, a project that demanded high reliability, smart monitoring, and seamless coordination with building systems. These panels were further enhanced through integration with Building Management Systems (BMS), allowing centralized monitoring and control.
“We have integrated BMS systems with our MCC panels so clients can monitor their machinery and workflow in real time,” said Abdul Aleem. “This level of visibility improves energy efficiency, predictive maintenance, and operational decision-making. It transforms panels from passive components into intelligent assets.”
Abdullah Aleem added that this capability is particularly valuable for HVAC-intensive facilities such as hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and high-rise commercial buildings. “When electrical panels communicate directly with BMS, facility managers gain control, not just power distribution,” he said. “That is where the future of HVAC-electrical integration lies, and we are already there.”
As the HVAC industry continues to evolve toward smarter and more energy-efficient systems, Taj Engineering’s integrated manufacturing approach places it in a rare category. By combining switchgear expertise, HVAC specialization, and digital monitoring, the company has created a model that few competitors can replicate.
