Syed Hassan Ali talks to Engineering Post,
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is about to open a new era of development in Pakistan’s logistics and warehousing sectors. As per various reports, $62 billion revenues of the Gwadar Port and the CPEC would be generated from logistics and warehousing, though a major chunk of this sum will directly go to China, but still a massive growth is expected in these sectors.
Prism Engineering & Construction Services (PRISMECS) Director Operations Syed Hassan Ali highlights that a mammoth 923-hectare free zone having hundreds of factories, logistic hubs, warehouses and display centers have been planned along the CPEC route. Once these industrial hubs will become operational they will not only create hundreds of thousands new jobs but they will also increase demand of world-class storage and warehousing facilities, he underlined.
