Software Technology Parks in the public and private building being established to facilitate IT Industry

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB ) was facilitating the Information Technology (IT) industry by establishing state of the art Software Technology Parks (STPs) in public and private buildings.

Setting up an office was convenient and much more economical  in these buildings with many amenities forthcoming such as backup power facilities, high-speed internet, and central heating/cooling (subject to availability).

Currently, PSEB was managing as many as thirty-two Software Technology Parks in different cities throughout the country such as Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Abbottabad, Swat,Mansehra, Quetta, Hyderabad,Khuzdar, Bannu, Jamshoro and Gilgit.

During first three quarters of last financial year July-March FY2023, PSEB ha added  seven Software Technology Parks  to facilitate the IT industry by expanding the basic infrastructure facilities in secondary and tertiary cities of Pakistan,

Sitara Software Technology Park was established over 23063 square feet, Euro-Heights Gujrat was set up in Gujrat over 13565  square feet area, Innovation and Entrepreneurship  Centre (Mehran UET Jamshoro) was established at Jamshoro over an area of 5000 square feet,  NASTP Karachi was developed over an area of 61000 square feet in Karachi, STP Bahauddin Zakaria University  Multan  on 5000 square feet, Sarhad Software Technology Parks (SSTP)  was established in Peshawar  over an area of 5000 square feet and  Alpha Techno Square NASTP Rawalpindi was developed over the largest area of 40000 square feet in Rawalpindi.
