Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore for sponsorship of chair on gas engineering at Department of Chemical Engineering, UET.
This is the third memorandum of understanding of its kind, signed by Managing Director SNGPL, Amjad Latif and Vice Chancellor, UET, Dr. Fazal Ahmed Khalid at SNGPL Head Office.
According to MoU, SNGPL will grant Rs 3.32 million on annual basis to Department of Chemical Engineering, UET Lahore for research activities. On the occasion, Amer Tufail DMD (S), Liaqat Raza (SGM HR/LS), Muhammad Aslam (GM Compression) and Farrukh Majeed GM HSE along with other Official of UET LHR were also present.
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has approved Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy and promoting educational activities is a major objective of Company’s CSR policy. SNGPL has already sponsored a chair on gas engineering at Institute of Chemical Engineering, University of the Punjab, Lahore and Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar.
