The export of services from Pakistan during the first half of the financial year 2025-26 increased by 16.51 percent.
According to the data available from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), exports of services during July-December 2025-26 were recorded at $ 4.764 billion as compared to the services e sports of $ 4.089 billion during the same period of the financial year 2024-25.
During the period under report, the country’s import of services had also grown by 15.75 percent and were registered at $ 6.504 billion as compared to the imports of services worth $ 5.619 billion during the same period last financial year.
Based on the PBS figures, the services trade deficit i.e., imports versus exports was placed at $ 1.739 billion against the deficit of $ 1.529 billion during the last year’s corresponding period showing a growth of 13.73 percent.
