IEEE PES Karachi chapter organized a technical Seminar on the topic of POWER ISOLATION. The speaker of the seminar was the renowned “Muhammad Ghayas Gillani”.
The program started with recitation of the Holy Quran by Secretary PES Mr. Imran Zafar, He then welcome the participants and shared with them that PES is conducting technical Seminar every month, the platform spread awareness & knowledge on the newest electrical practices in the industry. The session covers topics both from academic research and practical field cases. He also informed participants on multi-topic seminar by PES scheduled tentatively in November 2020.
Mr. Tahir Salim, chairman PES was pleased to see keen interest & participation from the engineering community, he especially applauded presence of Young engineers. He introduced audience about the topic “Power isolation”, he consider that many industries still are not implementing proper power isolation practice, he believed that this session will help participant understand & implement power isolation techniques in their organizations.
Engr. Ghayas Gillani was speaker of the session, having work experience of m 25 + years in Pakistan’s biggest & technically most advanced Hospital AKUH. He explained the audience the technical & complicated topic in very simple manner, he used multimedia slides as well as animated videos for the explanation and elaboration. He shared examples and consequences for neglecting power Isolation.
