Engineering Post Report
Following the sectoral objectives of the Science and Technology sector are being pursued attaching due priority set in economic growth strategy and in accordance with the manifesto of the incumbent federal government during the current financial year at appropriate levels:
Human Resource Development; Industry- Research and Development Academia Linkage; Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Facilitation; Upgradation of laboratories infrastructure; Restructuring /revamping of Ministry of Science and Technology Research and Development Organizations; Research and development in priority areas including Water Resources, Oceanography, Herbal Medicines, Electronics, Quality Assurance and Standards; Realizing close collaboration among strategic organizations, civil research and development organizations and private sector to achieve civilian spillover of defense capabilities; Undertake relevant important projects identified by Task Force on Science and Technology.
