Saindak Copper-Gold Project in Chagai District – Baluchistan is a pioneer project in the metallic minerals sector developed by the Government of Pakistan. Under the administrative control of the Ministry of Energy, Saindak Metals Limited is engaged at managing the Project affairs. It produces blister copper along with associated gold and silver metals from indigenous ore of Saindak area. Federal Secretary of Petroleum Division, Mian Asad Hayaud Din handed over the remittance cheque to the government of Baluchistan. The cheque amounts Rs305.00 million as a profit share of Saindak Copper-Gold Project executed by Saindak Metal Company Limited. On cheque handover meeting, the secretary of mines and minerals and senior officials of petroleum division were also present. The Petroleum Division is committed to ensure smooth and beneficial project operation in the interest of the country and province more precisely for local community.
