At a meeting organized by Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC), a news was revealed that more than 300 national and multinational companies are interested in establishing industrial units in the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park (QABP). Secretary of the Punjab Industries Department Capt. (retd) Zafar Iqbal supervised over the meeting. In the presence of PIEDMC Chairman Syed Nabeel Hashmi and officials from the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade, Syed Nabeel Hashmi gave a detailed briefing on the business plan for the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, Sheikhupura. He spoke out about the establishment of the Business Park. He said it would go a long way in realizing the concept of a state-of-the-art business park fetching foreign direct investment that will pave ways not only for industrial growth but also a vast opportunity of employment in the province. He future said that an industrial group from China has also shown its keen interest in relocating its industry in the Business Park.
