The very first and foremost aim is to help people across the country to stay connected providing access to facilities to the most defenceless communities, mainly concerned are of food and healthcare. To keep Pakistan connected at this time of crisis by engaging the native folks with their work flawlessly, PTCL is trying its best to provide quality services. PTCL Group including Ufone, U Microfinance Bank and PTCL have commenced many actions to provide support to the people, a major portion of this package will go towards providing sponsored and free of cost services to customers, so that they are able to stay connected virtually. With free offers and major minimised bundles, PTCL and Ufone have provided support to the people on their products and services. Moreover, all transaction charges on funds transfers through UPaisa to UPaisa wallets and to other banks have also been waived off during the current situation. Being the largest node point in banking and aviation, PTCL has expanded its submarine internet capacity suggestively for both retail and corporate customers. With more than its 12,000 frontline workers ensuring country’s connectivity even in the remote and far flung areas of the country, the employees of PTCL and Ufone have voluntarily donated part of their salaries to help in the relief efforts. PTCL is providing support to Coronavirus affected families through its Razakaar Trust in the shape of a package including food items, medicines and preventive gear in 25 cities across Pakistan.
