Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood has said that keeping in view the financial constrains faced by the business sector government is devising a plan especially for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to support small businesses in this time of COVID-19.
This was conveyed by a tweet from his official account saying “The govt is finalizing a scheme to support SMEs across all sectors & this programme will be announced shortly.” “It is our endeavour to help small businesses as compared to larger ones because of their weaker financial position.”
The small business community is looking forward for a relief package from the government during this period of minimal economic activity due to lockdown amid COVID-19.
