Country’s total IT exports during the first nine months of financial year 2024-25 have thus reached US $ 2.8 billion, up by 24 percent on year-on-basis and in the process positioned the IT sector firmly on the track to surpass last full year performance.
it may also be mentioned here that the federal government’s recently announced rather ambitious economic transformation plan “Uraan Pakistan” e envisages to elevate country’s IT exports to US $ 10 billion by FY2029 which would quite obviously required compound annual growth rate of approximately 28 percent during the next four years.
