Engr. Yousaf Hassan Becomes President Unopposed

The Pakistan HVACR Society has announced the results of its latest elections, marking a significant leadership transition for the country’s heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration sector. In a strong show of confidence from members nationwide, Engr. Yousaf Hassan, CEO of YH Associates, secured an undisputed victory and has formally assumed office as the President of the Society.

The newly elected executive council represents key professionals from Islamabad and Lahore, bringing together a diverse blend of experience aimed at advancing HVACR development, industry standards and technical excellence in Pakistan.

From the Islamabad Chapter, the elected Executive Council Members include Mr. Masood Sadiq, Mian Arif Hussain, Mr. Muhammad Asif Amin, Mr. Waqar Ali Shah, and Mr. Muhammad Bilal Zubairi. Their collective expertise in engineering, project management and industrial operations is expected to strengthen the chapter’s role in training, outreach and sectoral collaboration.

The Lahore Chapter has also announced its Executive Council Members for the new term. The council comprises Mr. Ahmad Naeem Chughtai, Mr. Muhammad Hussain, Mr. Ammad Monus, Mr. Muhammad Amir, Mr. Adnan Liaqat, and Mr. Jaffar Raza Haidery. The Lahore team is expected to contribute significantly to regional activities, exhibitions and professional engagement initiatives.

With Engr. Yousaf Hassan at the helm, industry insiders anticipate a renewed focus on capacity building, technical advancement and strengthening the Society’s footprint across Pakistan. The new leadership is expected to outline its roadmap in the coming weeks as the Society prepares for a dynamic year ahead.
