Pakistan and China vowed to accelerate work on the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) specially related to industrial cooperation. Nong Rong, the new Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan called the Minister Asad Umar on the matters related to bilateral relations. The minister and the ambassador discussed the CPEC projects in detail, exclusively on the industrial cooperation. As the China–Pakistan relationship has extended beyond the government to government cooperation as the bond between the people of the two countries is also very strong. The Chinese ambassador acknowledged the minister, and thanked the Chinese side with high value the relationship.
