Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in partnership with HEC had launched a Need-based Scholarship Program in collaboration with 9 top universities in the country. This year alone 170 students benefitted from this initiative receiving scholarships worth PKR.141 Million.
Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) was one of the 9 institutions and 80 (in 2 batches) students from QAU got this scholarship. These 80 students are from OGDLC’s operational/ concessional areas spread over all four provinces of the country. The event was organized to welcome these 80 needy students. It was attended by the MD/CEO OGDCL, VC QAU & ED HEC among others.
This event marked the second episode of “OGDCL Goodwill Ambassador” Program. These 80 fortunate students got included in this Program and also received recognition certificates.
OGDCL gave Rs15.47 million to HEC for various universities included in this program.
