National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) launched the 2020 edition by holding the first job fair of this year in Lahore, offering the country’s top talent pool from within and outside of the provincial metropolis. The one-day event was held at the Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR) Laboratories Complex. The representatives from over 80 industries conducted interviews of a large number of aspiring final year students of NUST, from multiple fields including Engineering, IT, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Natural Sciences, Biosciences, and Architecture. The major stake holder companies from the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Electronics, Information Technology, Light Engineering and Manufacturing sectors, among others, attended the job fair. The event was inaugurated by President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), Anjum Nisar. He praised NUST for presenting its dynamic student pool to the job market in Lahore and appreciated the industry for turning out in large numbers to interview and employ students from the county’s top-notch Engineering & Technology university.
