The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) successfully hosted its annual flagship recruitment event, NUST Career Connect 2026 (NCC ’26), at its main campus, drawing an overwhelming response from both students and industry leaders.

The career fair was formally inaugurated by Pro-Rector Research, Innovation & Commercialisation, Dr Rizwan Riaz, who underscored the significance of robust academia-industry linkages in shaping graduates equipped for evolving market demands. This year’s edition featured participation from more than 130 organizations spanning multiple sectors, including technology, engineering, finance, manufacturing and services. Over 4,000 students attended the event, engaging in networking sessions, on-the-spot interviews and career consultations with recruiters.

University officials highlighted that initiatives like Career Connect significantly enhance employer engagement and contribute to NUST’s strong global standing, particularly its #98 ranking in Employer Reputation worldwide.

By fostering meaningful collaboration between academia and industry, NCC ’26 reinforced NUST’s commitment to equipping graduates with practical insights, professional connections and opportunities that pave the way for successful and impactful careers.
