According to some reports, a Chinese company has expressed interest in the construction of all five sections of the motorway.

For possible inclusion: Construction of Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway is the top priority of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and it made its support of federal budget 2025-26 approval and hence its inclusion in the PSDP 2025-26 as one of the top most priority projects despite resource constraints.
