Nexgen Auto, Albario Join Hands to Boost EV Charging in Pakistan

In a significant move to accelerate Pakistan’s transition toward clean mobility, Nexgen Auto Pvt Ltd, a Nishat Group company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Albario Engineering (Pvt) Ltd through its EV subsidiary, A-Charge. The collaboration aims to strengthen the country’s electric vehicle (EV) charging ecosystem and promote widespread adoption of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs).

As part of the agreement, Albario will provide hassle-free installation of AC home chargers for Nexgen Auto’s newly launched Omoda and Jaecoo electric vehicles, ensuring convenience and a seamless ownership experience for customers.

The partnership also formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to roll out public DC fast chargers nationwide, marking a major step forward in addressing the infrastructure challenges of EV adoption in Pakistan.

Industry experts see this alliance as a crucial development in building consumer confidence and creating the necessary ecosystem for the growing EV market. By integrating reliable charging solutions both at home and in public spaces, Nexgen Auto and Albario aim to make electric mobility more accessible and practical for Pakistani consumers.

This initiative reflects a broader push by the private sector to drive sustainable transport and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
