KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has tossed a construction work of Rs.814 million on Makh Banda Dam project at District Karak with three years as completion tenure. This will irrigate nearly 725 acres of land under agriculture. Moreover, around a package of Rs.2 billion has been announced for gasification of the entire population of District Karak. As per PM’s instructions, oil & gas sovereign’s funds for Karak district are the sole right of people of Karak, is ensured to be spent on the development of the people of District Karak. Under the project various developmental schemes of billion rupees in education, health, public health engineering, communication & other social sectors have been initiated for the maintainable development of the district. The work on up-gradation of the existing healthcare facilities in district was underway for years. An amount of Rs. 450 million have been allocated in the current financial year for the execution of various road projects in the district whereas Rs. 550 million for the construction of sports complex in Karak.
