Motorbikes, three-wheelers sale increased by 25.87% during first five months of 2024-25

Sales of motorcycles and three-wheelers in the country registered an appreciable increase of 25.87 percent during the first five months July to November of the current financial year as compared to the corresponding period of the last financial year.

During the period under report here, as per figures available from the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association (PAMA), as many as 578364 motorcycles and three wheelers were reported to have been sold during this period as compared to 459459 units sold throughout the country during July-November 2023.

The sale of Honda motorcycles increased to 4866758 units by 22.20 from 398393 units while that of Suzuki motorbikes also rose substantially by 60.91 percent to 9692 units from 6023 units during the five months period.

 During the same five months period, 56479 United Auto motorcycles were sold as compared to 36807 units during sold last year while that of Road Prince motorbikes 8434 united were reported to have been sold as compared 6974 units while the sale of Yamaha was down somehow by as much as 45.04 units from 386 units to 2141 units during the five months of current fiscal as compared to financial year 2023-24.

The sale of Road Prince three-wheelers increased by 64.13 percent from 393 units to 645 units while the sale of Qingqi three-wheelers surged by to 4178 units from only 1910 units.

Sazgar three-wheelers sale was sale was up as much as 110.87 percent from 4653 units to 9812 units and that of United Auto three-wheelers was down by 15.03 per cent from 379 units to 322 units during five months of 2023-24 as compared to 2024-25.
