Pakistan is expanding its trade and investment footprints in Saudi Arabia (SA) as more than 100 Pakistani Information Technology (IT) firms have got formal registration for operating in the Kingdom.
This was in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 which lays emphasis on digital transformation, innovation and value-added business cooperation.
According to information available from relevant documents in this regard, these Pakistani firms have joined Saudi business networks to offer technological solutions in fintech, e-commerce, and software development.
A professional network comprising Saudi IT specialists and Pakistan technology suppliers was in the process of being formed for facilitating long-term collaboration and launching of joint projects.
Saudi Ministry of Investment has established a help desk for assisting Pakistani IT firms for registration in Saudi Arabia. Several Pakistani IT firms were establishing their subsidiaries in the Kingdom and establishing regional offices there for getting engaged there in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and fintech projects.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Information technology (IT) were also exploring opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s cyber security market amid strengthened ties between the two countries.
Both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were ranked highly in the latest Global Cybersecurity Index.
