To manage and regulate water resources in the interest of the conservation and sustainability, KP government has introduced a draft legislative bill in the provincial assembly to establishment water resources commission and regulatory authority. Under the command of Chief Minister of the province, the proposed commission will be comprised of nineteen members. The members will be encompassed Ministers for Environment, Public Health Engineering, Agriculture, Industries, Irrigation along with Local government, Chief Secretary, Secretaries irrigation, environment, agriculture, health, finance, Public Health Engineering. Moreover, the two water experts, Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Director General of the Commission will also be part of this commission.
