As Karachi Transformation Plan (KTP) covers some immediately needed projects for Karachi but the extension of Lyari Expressway and Northern Bypass must also be involved in KTP to help for the effective dealing of the frequent traffic jamming issue in Karachi. This prestigious point has been raised by the Chairman Businessmen Group (BMG) & Former President Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) Zubair Motiwala. The Lyari Expressway and the Northern Bypass must be extended in such a way that both these projects start from the port premises while exiting at a faraway location at the highways. Lyari Express way is about three kilometers away from Karachi Port. In order to avoid traffic jam there, the routes must be designed in such a way that heavy traffic could also utilize them without damaging any other road of the city. The next sizzling issue is of the sweet water. K-IV has been lingering since many years which must be started up on top priority. In order to give a better living to the people of the largest and densely populated city of Pakistan, the infrastructural developmental projects must be prioritized with a responsible committee to ensure the timely execution and completion.
