ISK-SODEX 2018, the Leading International Exhibition for HVAC&R, Pumps, Valves, Fittings, Water Treatment and Insulation of Eurasia held at Turkey (Istanbul) on 7-10 February 2018 at Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center. In view of growing relationship with HVACR societies of both Pakistan and Turkey, Ministry of Economy Turkey invited a special delegation from Pakistan’s HVACR society to be part of Leading HVACR&R Exhibition of EURASIA. More than 1200 plus leading HVACR companies of Turkey and also from the world displayed their products. Organized biennially, ISK-SODEX Istanbul provides international atmosphere for HVAC&R Industry and provides a unique B2B Networking platform for the sector in Eurasia Region. The Pakistani delegation was led by President HVACR society Mr. Azeem Ashraf with Mr. Farooq Mehboob, Mr. Sajid Abbas, Mr. Sajjad khan, chapter chairman Lahore, Mr. Nadeem chaudhry, chapter chairman, Islamabad and Mr. Khurram Malik, executive general secretary.
Mr. Faraz Khan, Mr. Akbar Zaheer, Mr.Mahmood, Mr. Ahmad Naeem, Mr.Agha Elias, Mr. Afzaal Malik, Mr. Javed, Mr. Nauman Ghani, Mr. Usman(ST Engineers) and Mr. Emaad with a few other were also the part of the elite team. Around 40 professionals from Lahore and overall 52 members from all across Pakistan visited the event. Pakistani delegation had successful B2b meetings with manufacturers at expo center and then at Chamber of Commerce Istanbul on special invitations. Mr. Sajjad Khan, Chapter chairman, Lahore informed Engineering Post that joint venture for manufacturing at Pakistan was discussed with many companies at Turkey. Pakistani delegation invited many professionals at the upcoming HVACR expo at Islamabad. This is the first time ever that Pakistanis took up these kinds of issues with their Turkish counterparts. Mr. Azeem Ashraf offered a detailed presentation about Pakistan’s HVACR market during the conference. This presentation was highly lauded by the audience as it gave some gorgeously beautiful and attractive insights of the Pakistani Market. The visit also includes factory visits at various industrial cities of Turkey to further enlighten the member’s experience. Mr. Sajjad Khan further told that Turkey has an impressive manufacturing industry and the credit goes to the Turkish government for their immense support to their industry.
