Two industrial zones have been planned by the Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company in Sialkot and Rawalpindi in a phased manner. The land for establishing the Industrial Zone in Sialkot has already been identified in consultation with the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The work for establishing an industrial zone in Rawalpindi was also in progress at the appropriate level. Both these Industrial Zones will help greatly in boosting exports and economic growth as and when these were established in due course of time.
