The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers of Pakistan (IEEEP) organized a soft launch ceremony of the upcoming IEEEP fair at Marriot hotel in Karachi. The event was attended enthusiastically by people from the Engineering fraternity.
The occasion was labelled as a pre event networking hi-tea. The ceremony commenced with a wonderful welcome address by Engr Irfan Ahmad chairman IEEEP Karachi centre. In his address he thanked the participants for their arrival and highlighted the short history of IEEEP fair.
Director Sales Badar Expo solutions Mr. Jaffar Abbas gave a brief but very informative presentation on the upcoming IEEEP fair 2019 which is scheduled to be held from 1st to 3rd October 2019 at the Karachi Expo centre.
After this orientation session convener IEEEP FAIR, IEEEP Karachi centre Engr. Muhammad Irfan Shaikh presented the technical highlights of the IEEEP fair 2019.
Engr. Daroo Khan Achakzai President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) attended the soft launch of IEEEP fair as chief guest. While addressing the event he appreciated how IEEEP has grown in a relatively short span of time and is now gearing up to conduct the 10th IEEEP fair. He assured that FPCCI is working tirelessly to convey the demands of industrialists and entrepreneurs to the administrative authorities and to make sure that new policies are made in compliance with the industry’s needs.
After the conclusion of the speeches, Chairman IEEEP Karachi centre presented the honorary shield to the Chief Guest on behalf of IEEEP. After the shield presentation and group photo the Hi Tea and networking commenced. This fair is one of the biggest Electronics and Electrical Engineering Industrial Exhibition in Pakistan, show-casing a large collection of industrial merchandise and service products. Many foreign exhibitors utilize this platform to launch their products in the region. Each year,the IEEEP Fair provides greater opportunities for companies, both local and foreign, to pick up the latest trends and gain access to the newest, cutting-edge products in the industry. The fair facilitates companies to engage in joint ventures exchanging technology and information. It is advantageous for university students as well, who are able to network and make connections with potential employers.
