KARACHI: Macht (Pvt.) Ltd., a leading Pakistani manufacturer of Busbar Trunking Systems (BTD), has been honored with the Made in Pakistan Excellence Award at the 15th IEEEP Fair 2026, held from August 18 to 20 at the Karachi Expo Centre.
The recognition was presented in acknowledgment of Macht’s locally engineered Power Busway System and its contribution to strengthening Pakistan’s industrial manufacturing capabilities through locally developed electrical engineering solutions.
Rizwan Saeed, Managing Partner of Macht (Pvt.) Ltd., received the award during the closing ceremony of the three-day exhibition.
Macht also became the first company officially using the Made in Pakistan emblem, marking a significant milestone in the promotion of locally manufactured engineering products and Pakistan’s growing industrial capabilities.
The IEEEP Fair brought together leading engineering companies, manufacturers and industry professionals, providing a platform to showcase innovative products, technologies and solutions. Macht’s participation highlighted the company’s focus on developing internationally competitive electrical infrastructure through advanced local engineering and manufacturing.
According to the company, its Busbar Trunking System has undergone extensive testing and certification by leading national and international organizations. The system is KEMA Labs certified and DEKRA Mark certified, and has also been tested by the HV & SC Lab, NTDC-WAPDA, as well as PCSIR Laboratories.
The company stated that its system complies with IEC 61439-1 and IEC 61439-6, international standards applicable to low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies and busbar trunking systems.
With more than 200 projects completed across Pakistan, Macht said its locally manufactured busway solutions are gaining increasing acceptance in the country’s industrial and commercial sectors.
The company views the recognition at IEEEP Fair 2026 as an endorsement of Pakistan’s growing capacity to design, engineer and manufacture internationally competitive electrical infrastructure products locally.
