In the last week of December, last technical activity of the year 2021 but second within two months to make up for the lost opportunities during the year 2021 had been organized by IEEE PES Chapter Karachi at Sunset Club, Karachi. A multipurpose event was arranged where more than 40 participants and industry leaders were eased by Platform and got opportunity of appealing with each other as IEEE is committed to serve Engineering Professional to evaluate their technical knowledge and create edifice chunks of an enduring and diverse professional network.
The one-day seminar on “Electrical Power Analysis using ETAP” and Distinguished Speaker of the seminar was “Mr. Naveed Suhail”. With the Recitation of Holy Quran, the seminar started. chairman IEEE PES Mr. Ishtiaq ul Haq welcomed the attendes. IEEE PES is regularly conducting technical seminar with intending activities to disseminate technical, relevant, and advanced knowledge on products and matters concerned with the engineering community. The seminar provided rich experience in ETAP designing & calculations. While demonstrating the relevant power Analysis standards with complete overview of the software functions, applications and utlity in the industry following optinal questions were covered:
What calculation method being used in ETAP?
What are different modules available ?
Which standards does ETAP adhere to ?
What plaforms / institutions available for its training in Pakistan ?
Later Chairman PES , Engr. Ishtiaqul Haque highlighted importance of this software and encouraged students to maximum use of these kind of opportunities. Engr. Tahir Salim Past Chairman PES also shared his valuable thoughts and experiences to enlightened the participants.
