Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Kwak Sung-Kyu while talking to the media said that South Korea has established automobile production unit in Pakistan which would commence production of motor vehicles under the brand name of Hyundai till December this year. He further said that motorways and roads would soon observe Korean vehicles in the country.
He was talking to the media after attending a reception arranged by Chairman Pak Korea Friendship Parliamentary Association MNA Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh.
The reception was organised in honour of members of Korean Parliament and other dignitaries visiting Pakistan. Former chairman Senate Wasim Sajjad, Pakistani members of Parliament and heads of Korean companies working in Pakistan also attended the reception.
Qaiser A Sheikh said Pakistan would reap benefits from the Korean investment and transfer of technology as Korea has made tremendous progress in the last 26 years.
