Firm DECON International reached another milestone of the completion of 25 years of service to the Pakistan’s industry. Firm DECON is specialized in geotechnical investigation, laboratory testing, piling and tube well construction etc and has carried out many projects of the national level.
The management, to celebrate, organized a massive get together of the professionals from all sectors at Lahore in 2nd week of July 2017.
The event was a galaxy of the renowned engineers and professionals from government and private sectors. Mr. Jawed Salim Qureshi, Chairman, Pakistan Engineering Council was the chief guest.
Mr. Tahir Sultan, Managing Director, highlighted the services and expertise offered by Firm DECON in the past 25 years. He also revealed the initial problems faced by the company and how was he helpful in sorting them out.
To recognize the effort of the employees, Firm DECON presented “Bravery Award” to the 4 employees who, during their work on Iran Pakistan gas pipeline project in Balochistan, faced the firing of the terrorists and still continued their work the very next day. Another Bravery award was presented to an employee who saved 2 companions after a car caught fire in Sindh during work.
Employee of the Year award was presented to Mr. Atif Aziz, Manager Geotechnical Department.
Participants highly lauded the efforts put in by Firm DECON for the betterment of engineering and construction in the country. The event which turned out to be a forum for the informal discussion was also followed by a lavish dinner.
