Fast Cables has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first and only cable manufacturer in Pakistan to be awarded the prestigious British Approvals Service for Cables (BASEC) certification. This recognition sets a new benchmark for the country’s cable manufacturing sector.
BASEC, a globally respected UK-based certification body, is renowned for its stringent assessment processes that ensure adherence to international quality and safety standards. Fast Cables secured this certification following an extensive audit of its manufacturing facility, which evaluated everything from raw material procurement to the delivery of finished products.
As part of the certification process, Fast Cables’ products underwent rigorous type testing at BASEC’s lab in the UAE, confirming their compliance with international standards. With this achievement, Fast Cables not only strengthens its position in the domestic market but also opens up greater export opportunities in the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.
