Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar Governor Punjab has spoken about the
establishment of the State-of-the-art Expo Centre and other institutions that
will make Faisalabad an important industrial, commercial and business hub of South Asia. As a number of hoist projects are under consideration for the combined, inclusive and innovative development of Faisalabad, it is predicted that serious efforts are being made that will harvest the positive benefits of Government policies very soon. Though the Government is already focusing on the Industrial sector in order to strengthen the national economy, agriculture will be one of the most important segments of economy. Moreover the Government has agreed in principle to provide electricity to the industrial sector at 9 cents per unit, FESCO is waiting for a proper notification to bill at the rate of 9 cent per unit.
