SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC PAKISTAN WINS CSR AWARD 2018 IN PAKISTAN
7th Corporate Social Responsibility Summit & Awards 2018 event was held at Hotel Marriott, Karachi, Pakistan in January 2018 with more than 300 corporate peers. Major corporate companies participate every year in this event in award competition. Schneider Electric Pakistan also submitted its project of establishing Electrical Labs for underprivileged youth in Pakistan under “Access to Energy (A2E)” Program, and was selected for an award in category of “Social Impact”.
Ali Hamdani, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Schneider Electric Pakistan received the award. Schneider Electric Pakistan has rolled out 1st batch of 5 electrical labs completed in Pakistan, in November 2017. Among the cities covered: Lahore (2 labs), Wazirabad (1 lab) and Gujranwala (2 labs). The 2nd batch of 5 labs will be rolled out in Feb 2018.
The event was organized by “The Professionals Network (TPN)” for the last six years and this is the 7th edition of the same. The subject event is the only CSR event of Pakistan registered with IPO Government of Pakistan and has a copy right protection too. www.csrsummitandawards.com
