Engro Fertilizers has converted its Technical Training College (TCC) Daharki into a 60-bed quarantine facility as part of ongoing efforts to support the district authorities and Daharki community amid the coronavirus outbreak
The facility will be used according to the standard operating procedures. This is very significant contribution because these areas of interior sindh lack even the basic medical facilities.
The District Health Officer Dr Altaf and district administration has appreciated steps taken by Engro Fertilizers and are carrying out strong vigilance with regards to coronavirus.
Engro fertilizer is also distributing ration packs to the deserving families in the area. Around 1500 packs have been distributed so far. Commenting on these COVID-19 relief efforts, Aamir Aslam, general manager at Engro Fertilizers Daharki Plant, said that Engro has always stood by its people and the community around it during testing times.
