A digital transformation journey has been achieved between Tufail Chemical Industries Ltd. and SAP with the implementation of SAP’s S/4 HANA. With this productive step, Tufail Chemical expects to save between Rs150 million to Rs200 million annually as operational costs by using SAP solutions. This saving will be derived from better spend controls with more effective inventory management, a more robust production control and plant maintenance process with improved billing and cash collection. Prior to this, Tufail Chemical was using a home grown system. Now, the company has chosen to work with SAP because of the company’s capabilities and experience in the manufacturing and chemical industry. Zubair Tufail, the CEO of Tufail Chemical Industries Ltd has shared his main views to shift strategy as to build a more lean and flexible organization. The implementation of SAP S/4 HANA will provide Tufail Chemical with process standardization, accurate and timely management reporting, increased financial controls and better insight into operational and commercial trends.
