Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar during his visit to Karachi held a press conference at HESCO Headquarter.
During the press conference he revealed that a mega development project conceived for different districts of Sindh is in the pipeline. He said that these development projects will be substantial in scale like the Karachi development project and will be announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan to Sindh during his next visit to Sindh.
The incumbent government has reiterated that the province of Sindh and Balochistan need to be developed on par with the other provinces of the country. During 2020 PM Imran Khan had announced a historic package worth Rs1.1 trillion for the transformation of Karachi to address core issues of drinking water, transportation solid waste management as well as sewerage and water drainage.
