Pakistani automotive parts manufacturing company, Darson Industries has cemented a business deal with German firm during Hannover Messe 2017.
Darson Industries Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of automotive rubber hose pipes and rubber molded parts signed a business deal with a German firm Butsch GmBH for sales of automotive rubber products to auto industry in Germany and other European countries.
The agreement was signed between Thomas Butsch, CEO of Butsch GmBH and Abdul Hamid, CEO Darson Industries at Pakistan Pavilion in Hannover Messe 2017. The ceremony was attended by Jauhar Saleem, Ambassador of Pakistan in Germany, Jehangir Mushtaq Virk, Commercial Councellor Berlin and Asim Ayaz from Engineering Development Board (EDB).
As per agreement, Darson will be working as manufacturing hub while German firm will be the distributor and customer services representative in Germany. The Darson and Butsch will together develop the products and place them in serial production.
Meanwhile, Chairman, Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (Paapam), Mashood Ali Khan said that promotion of engineering sector needed efforts on long term basis. The Darson-Butsch collaboration was an example of the continued participation which would increase the confidence of German and other European Buyers on Pakistani auto part manufacturers, he maintained.
