In early December a Forum of CPEC Chemical Paint Technology Communication Center was held at Hunan Chemical Vocational Technology College. Leading companies from china involved in manufacturing world-class paint for buildings; furniture and automobile attended the event. The companies showed interest in JVs and partnerships with Pakistani Industrialists to establish foothold in the Pakistani market. The participants of the forum also expressed complete confidence in the security situation in Pakistan.
Li Xing Xinong, founder of Hunan Banfert New Materials Technology said “We are an international chemicals supplier and our company intends to explore business and investment opportunities in Pakistan which has become an important investment destination for the Chinese businessmen and entrepreneurs after the launch of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC),”
Ming Xiancheng, General Manager, Xiangjiang Paint Technology Company, speaking on the occasion, also showed interest in the investment-friendly policies and incentives announced by the present government to attract foreign investment in Pakistan. The companies in attendance expressed their view that Pakistan’s economy is gearing up and there are more business and investment opportunities for Chinese companies. Due to low cost of labor and other incentives offered by the administration Chinese industrialists can also export their products to other countries from Pakistan.
