Chery Master to start vehicles local assembly from January 2026

Chery Master Pakistan is all set to start vehicles assembly locally in January 2026 if all goes well as planned at its manufacturing plant in the National Industrial Park, Port Qasim, Karachi. The manufacturing plant has been established at an estimated investment of US $ 150 million.

According to the reports available, the facility covers more than 60 acres and is likely to employ more than 2000 workers equipped with training in new energy vehicle technologies..

The company plans to initially introduce at least four models from Chery’s flagship i.e. the all new Tiggo Cross, Tiggo 7, 8 and 9 , all equipped with plug-in  hybrid electric technology.

Master Auto Engineering in collaboration with Chery Automobile Limited is establishing the New Energy Vehicle plant plant in Karachi where not only vehicles are going to be produced but the local industry will also be strengthened by generating employment and promoting technical expertise.

Chery Automobiles is  China’s top auto exporter and is operating in more than 120 countries across Europe, South America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Russia and Australia.
