Constructors Association of Pakistan (CAP) has established a help desk at the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) premises to assist its members in documentation process required for registration with the PEC.
Decision to this effect was taken at a meeting between Constructors Association of Pakistan (CAP) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Other representatives of both the sides were also present on this occasion, said a CAP spokesman here on Monday.
CAP following the decision reached at the meeting, has nominated Muhammad Usman for Islamabad, Mohammad Mushtaq Malik for Lahore, Asif Mahmood at Karachi and Ghulam Farooq at Peshawar to guide their colleagues for completing different forms and files for PEC registration at their respective help desk.
PEC has notified the establishment of this help desk and conveyed to all the Deputy Registrars/ In charge Help Desk at PEC headquarter and Regional Officers concerned to provide Help Desk at proper place to CAP representatives.
Constructors Association of Pakistan (CAP) Chairman Engr. Sikandar Hayat Khattak said that the Association was striving hard to resolve the issues being faced by its members and setting up of the help desk was a part of these efforts. He said that filling up of complicated PEC paper was a big issue for the constructors and this help desk would resolve this issue and expedite the registration of the constructors with the PEC.
