The project for the development of a double circuit transmission line from Bolan to Gawadar was under way according to the plans. The National Transmission and Dispatch company (NTDC) has recently announced its official completion as the work for the 29km transmission line was completed within due time.
The said project is capable of transmission of approximately 100MW of electricity from Iran into Pakistan. The supplied energy will prove extremely beneficial in terms of the decrement of load shedding, equilibrium of power adequacy and increment in the investment opportunities in the region of Gawadar and Makran as the investors will be looking forward to the huge potential of a sustainable market that this region holds.
According to the reports, NTDC has been able to officially complete this project within minimum time and the transmission lines have already been tested for the required energy transmission. The project was completed with such success due to the clear orders of Prime Minister Pakistan Shehbaz Shareef and Federal Minister Energy Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan, who has recorded his appreciation for the company on successfully managing and completing this project.
