While speaking at the occasion the Chief Guest at the occasion Prof Riaz ud Din reminisced that he was also a student of NED university and had spent his life working in the engineering sector but now the standards have changed from having clear concepts to having higher scores only “In my life I have conducted over a hundred thousand interviews of engineers. It is my experience that now students are pursuing higher scores only instead of gaining technical knowledge. This is a trend that needs to change because high scores mean nothing if you don’t have the technical knowledge to back it,” he said.
