Passenger car sales in Pakistan reached 17121 units during February 2026 which was as much as 42 percent high as compared to the same month of 2025. However, it was down by 26 percent from sales in January as per information available from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA).
The February figures brought cumulative car sales during the first eight months of FY 2026 to 128498 units representing a 43 percent increase compared with 89770 units sold during the same period last year.
Among the manufacturers, Pak Suzuki Motor Company reported sales of 8160 units during February 2026 up by 53 percent from the same month last year but down by 25 percent from January.
Indus Motor Company reported sales of 3817 units, showing a 46 % on a yearly basis but a 25 % decline compared with the previous month.
Honda Atlas Cars sold 2114 vehicles in February, reflecting a 3 percent increase compared with the same period last year but a drop of 42 percent from January 2026. Sazgar Engineering reported sales of 1682 units, showing as high as 90 percent increase compared with February last year but a 16 percent decline from the previous month.
Hyundai Nishat Motors reported sales of 1021 units down just 3 % year-on-year while remaining largely unchanged compared with January.
Sales of two and three wheelers reached 159512 units in February , up by 24% from a year earlier, but down 12 percent from January. Cumulatively, sales of this segment reached about 1.3 million during first eight months of FY 2026 marking an increase of 31 percent increase on year-on-year basis.
