A Year of Strategic Growth for Sky Nexus Engineering (Pvt) Ltd

Sky Nexus Engineering (Pvt) Ltd has rapidly positioned itself as a focused and forward-thinking player in Pakistan’s building management systems (BMS) sector. Over the past year, the company has experienced a defining phase of growth, marked by strategic partnerships, geographical expansion, and a strong commitment to energy efficiency. In an exclusive conversation with Engineering Post, the leadership team shared insights into their journey, achievements, and long-term vision.

Chief Executive Officer Aslam Virani explained that Sky Nexus was established with a clear mission—not only to deliver advanced building management systems, but also to educate the market about their value.
“The last one year has been extremely important for us,” he said. “We are actively increasing literacy around building management systems and demonstrating how they directly contribute to energy efficiency and operational cost savings in buildings.”

He further noted that the company has moved beyond conventional BMS implementation by offering comprehensive energy audits for buildings and facilities. These audits help clients identify inefficiencies and optimize performance through data-driven insights, reinforcing Sky Nexus’s consultative approach rather than a purely transactional one.

Managing Director Fayaz Feroz Ali highlighted the company’s strong technology partnerships, particularly with Schneider Electric, a globally recognized name in building automation.
“Our front end, software, and the majority of our equipment are provided by Schneider Electric,” he said. “This allows us to deliver solutions that meet international standards of reliability and performance.”

At the same time, he emphasized the company’s practical approach in addressing product gaps. “There are certain components Schneider does not manufacture, such as flow meters and specific air devices. In these cases, we collaborate with other renowned global brands, including Diehl metering, Danfoss, to ensure our clients receive complete, high-quality solutions without compromise.”

Geographical expansion has been another major milestone. Rashid Iqbal, Country Manager Sales, shared that Sky Nexus is strengthening its national footprint to remain closer to customers.
“Our Multan office has been operational for some time, and We are also actively working toward opening an offices in Islamabad &  Lahore, which will further enhance our reach and improve response times for clients in central Punjab.”

According to him, this expansion reflects the company’s focus on service excellence, not merely sales growth.

A strong emphasis on service quality—both before and after installation—remains central to Sky Nexus’s strategy. Fayaz Feroz Ali stressed the importance of genuine products and reliable technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
“Our strength lies in our after-sales service,” he explained. “This capability has opened new opportunities for us, including maintenance contracts for buildings that already have Schneider systems installed but lack dependable support. We are now successfully supporting facilities implemented earlier by others.”

Responsiveness is another key differentiator. Aslam Virani noted, “We have a structured system in place where customer queries are addressed within 24 hours. In critical building environments, timely support is not a luxury—it is a necessity.”

Supporting this commitment, Rashid Iqbal added that Sky Nexus maintains a healthy level of readily available stock, enabling the company to meet customer requirements without unnecessary delays, reducing downtime and project bottlenecks.

Looking ahead, Sky Nexus Engineering (Pvt) Ltd aims to play a pivotal role in transforming Pakistan’s built environment by making intelligent, energy-efficient buildings the norm rather than the exception.
